You may download material displayed on the Site for non-commercial, personal use only provided you also retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the materials. FORUM GUIDELINES Policing The Site administrator reserves the right to ban either temporarily or permanently any member who does not comply with any or all Terms and Conditions set forth in this document. A three strike policy may be used and and will utilized on a per user/occurrence basis. Banning membership is used as a last resort only. Behavior prompting a ban by the Site administration: a. Arguing with team members. b. Users who feel they have been unfairly treated are welcome to contact the Site administrator at oriji2002@gmail.com c. Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban. Circumvention includes posting as an anonymous user. d. Contacting any members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban. e. Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While the Site may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence. Behavior a. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning (see policing ). b. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. c. Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Only do this if a moderator team member has not replied within 6 hours. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who consistently "act" as moderators may be warned. d. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning or ban. e. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed. f. Members should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline ([IMG][/IMG]) image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed. g. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this may be warned. h. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of inappropriate titles include; "Help me!", "What to do now?!", etc. Examples of good titles include; "Industrial bid/little information", "Customer canceling service with no notice", etc. i. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, etc. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. See specific item on spam and 3rd party linking for more information. j. Members are asked to not disclose to any 3rd party, board, or list any vulnerabilities in the Site before contacting the administrator. You should submit all finds to oriji2002@gmail.com k. The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users. l. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging. Images and Avatars The Site allows users to link to the avatars of their choice and requires the images used to be in good taste and appropriate for a general audience. Images may not include reference to pornography, vulgarity, racism or hate. Avatar size is limited to 100 pixels by 100 pixels. Signature size may not affect the appearance or usability of the threads (ie causing the page to scroll sideways with normal resolution.) Users in violation will be given 24 hours to correct the image. If you require assistance please refer to the Technical Assistance forum. Signature Information regarding images used in signatures is referred to in Images and Avatars. Advertising and links in signatures may not violate our Advertising Policy. Advertising Hire-Maid allows advertising or products or services to registered and paid advertisers/sponsors only. Users may include links to their cleaning or janitorial websites however for advertising services to our users registration as a vendor will be required. Contact oriji2002@gmail.com for more information. Billing and Payment Information Subscriptions are on a yearly basis. Refunds are at the discretion of the administrators and are not guaranteed. |
